Persistent data structure - In computing, a persistent data structure is a data structure which always preserves the previous version of itself when it is modified; such data structures are effectively immutable, as their operations do not (visibly) update the structure in-place, but instead always yield a new updated structure. These type of data structures are particularly common in functional programming, and in a purely functional program all data is immutable.
TypeParameter - In computer programming languages, TypeParameter is a frequently-used generic label used in templates to reference an unknown data type, data structure, or class. Templates are most frequently used in Java and C++.
Private (Java) - The Java Programming language allows the programmer to encapsulate data. Encapsulation of data is done to protect the data.
String intern pool - In some modern programming languages, including Java and C#, the string intern pool is a data structure managed internally by the platform or virtual machine to facilitate efficient implementation of certain string processing tasks. The pool contains a single copy (called the intern) of each distinct string that is currently represented by a string object in the system.
